It Pro Wrestling fake? You may think its easy to just say 'no', but it's not. As the son of a former professional wrestler, I can tell you, 'fake' is not the word that should be used. "Scripted" is a better word.
The action is real, but the outcome and the order of the moves is planned. The blood that you see come out of their foreheads is real, unless it comes from their mouth, more than likely.
The injuries that occur, in the old days, were more or less real. Now adays, if a wrestler is injured, they just work it into the storyline. Hey! Who knows? Could put some butts in the seats.
It's not a matter of real or fake, its a matter of "scripted" or "unscripted". It is scripted, but it is NOT fake.
My father has torn and broken bones.
Some people are doctors and get paid to mend bones and heal ailments. Wrestlers wrestle and get paid to entertain people.
Why do you think they call it Sports Entertainment instead of Sport? 'Cause its not a toss up to them...
