Technology and Elections
Now a days, you could turn on the tube and catch most of the election debates on basic cable or even news radio's. It seems though if people in the past, if they wanted to know who they were voting for, they would have to catch the debates first hand, or even word of mouth. I do believe all this media, and modern technology exposure does hurt the candiates as well, there every move is watched and recorded by the media.

The opinions can go both ways. On one hand, the media being all over them can keep them on point, kind of like having you're manager stand behind you at work while your doing something important for your job. However, there is no denying that sometimes enough is enough. There comes a point where blowing a story up can ruin a persons reputation and success. Both are logical views, but you have to admit, there will never be a middle ground.

The media can play a very important role and it can play a very negative role during presidential elections. I feel like technology has come a long way for the better but some of the things being discussed it just uncalled for.

That's a good point. The media can give the candidates a negative appearance. Some of the candidates put out commercials of the other candidates, calling them out on certain things people might question. Also, the younger crowd sees an advertisement or article on the candidate on the internet or tv, and they vote for them just because of that, even though they may not know anything about them or their promises.
