Hispanics in History Class
There are so many important Hispanic figures in history that rarely get discussed in a classroom. I feel like points are made to explore the influences Hispanics had on history but not enough for students to really understand why Hispanics are an inportant aspect of history. I am of Hispanic descent and i would have liked to learn much more on the topic. Aren't they just as important as other races in history?

I can understand where you are coming from. On the other hand, this is American History, and we are studying the history of building America. There are some important Hispanic events, such as the Mexican American War, that played a major part in American History.
