History isnt the easiest subject but its not that hard to understand.Do you think the next generation of people will understand our time in history like the things in our time like 9-11, the war, the president the money hungry government? I think they wil because it's easier to relate to rather than he things in 1850.

It seems most likley that at the bare minimum the next two or three generations that have living relatives in this time period will understand. Just as many of us in the current time period understand Nixon and Vietnam. these two times I think are very similar and history will view them that way as well.
They are better than we are in their studies.
I think the next generation of people will have a good perception of what is going on in this time period.
I think that as the years go by, we progress as a people. Everything is more advanced than it was years ago. I dont think anyone will have problems learning about America's past (our present) in the future.
People will have a better understanding of what is happening in this day and age. They will be able to look back and generalize what actually went on and why.
i think the next generation will understand this time period in history way better then we can understand the 1850's, Primarily becuse of the technology, computers will have everything recored and even video
