Is all the information we get from our history books accurate? How do we know its true if the information is so old? Well I never understood that about history. I want to actually sit down and see where they got the documents from. I want to be there when the historians put the information down in history. I think we are all missing a big part of something. The things that don't make since to us in the books, can have an explanation for it somewhere. Of course we will never know the whole truth about America and it's history, but we still should know where all this is coming from.

Good thinking Dukes. What you should do if you are not too sure about the info you're getting from the book is compare and contrast the info to other sources. Go on the internet and google some of the topics or even go to the library and research and see how different the views are. That's the thing about history though, it was in our past and many of us may not have been their to witness it so that's why we have so many sources to read up on what happened.
I wonder that too and i also wonder that about the teachers who teach history. But i dont question it because i trust what the book says and to be honest thats alot of research you got ahead of you Jarvis are you sure you wanna do that?

In the old days young people use to talk to older people to get information now days we really on books only.
I agree because sometimes as a student you wonder how much of what you are learning is true. Sometimes it would be nice to actually see it as the historians do. Maybe it would be easier to understand as well.

I have no idea if it is correct or not, Im not a historian and dont know much about history. The books could of been telling me false information all along and i probably wouldnt of known back then
