Women on the Move!

For any middle age women it is easy to see why women are on the move. Women have come up a long hard road of domination, segregation, separation, isolation and oppression. A little more than 50 years ago women were given the right to vote, although I’ am sure at that time even after being given the right to vote their male counter-part probably forced many women not to vote. Or even many men intimidated the women to vote a certain way. Gone are those times however. Gone are the days when a man could have his wife arrested for not doing enough work. Fast forward a few decades and now we are witnessing the first lady too run for president of the United States of America; The very same place that treated women with utter contempt. How ironic is that, lets just say very ironic. We should all hope that if a woman is elected she want impart on men what they deserve or do to men, what was done to women. I know it its not really possible but it would be justice for all women. To have a women president would definitely be historical because she would be the first and most powerful women in the world. She would be the head of the greatest super power and military force on earth. I think she would also bring true compassion back to America and to the American People. Many women of the past have longed to see such a day, only to come up empty handed. Now the dreams of many women can and will be realized all because one lady “Hilary Clinton” ran for president in 2008.

And wouldnt that be awesome if the first female president won the 2008 election or would it? Is America ready for a female president? Many wonder but how are we to prove such a question when nothing like this has ever took place?
A female president of the United States would put such an impact in history and we would be the ones to say "Yeah, I remember when she was running for president?" But how are we to know if the United States is ready for a female president or not until it happens?

Being a female I wante Hilary to win, but also being an african american i wanted Obama to win. I watched the debates and to be honest I dont think Hilary would be a strong president. It would be nice to see a woman but women are sometimes too emotional for that job.
