Summer Gas Prices...
As the Summer begins to approach how much will the price of a gallon of gas go up? It is irrelevant that when Summer is in season people spend more money on traveling and other things. Every Summer our gas prices shoot up. With regular gas at three dollars and twenty-five cents will our price per gallon reach more then four dollars this summer? It's time for everyone to buy hybrids and flex-fuel cars so we can preserve our economy, our world, and our wallets.

History In The Making "Fidel Castro Resigns"
A few days after Fidel Castor decided to call it quits, many Cuban people are still leary of the country and its future direction. Many are over joyed and just as many if not more are skeptical because his brother is filling his shoes at the present time. Many Cubans knew that his brother lead the Cuban military and carried out many viscuios acts against the people for his brother, now they still don't trust him. Many Cuban Americans want to go back home if not to stay, atleast to visit but they can't because things are to uncertain right now. Eighter way this is a historical day forall Cuban Americans every where.

What's Next??
What do you think about the campaigning and what is the outcome going to be between obama and clinton? Well I think obama has a better chance of winning because he just won 8 states, but we will never know the outcome until its over. As a matter of fact we have 2 more major states voting on march 2nd, and clinton need to win both of them in order to stay in the election. I can't wait to find out the outcome of this election.

{English Is Quickly Becoming The Second Language Of Advanced Education}.
Well my fellow students I, have seen the trend of teaching very young children to become acclimated with computers. Many times before they can even write or spell very well. It is pretty embracing to say the least when I must go to my teenage daughter to get help operating my cell phone, laptop, wireless internet and even some times help with my e-mails. Computer literacy is not just a household language it is a Universal Language used around the world. I think that soon history will consider it, one of the most common language skills’s a necessity around the world. In the realm of “Higher Learning” it is impossible to get around using this new “Universal Language.” Because of the importance of communication, many college students speak Computer Literacy as their first language. As a second language many chose “English.” No matter how old you get, I think it is one of the easiest Languages to learn. Or at-least the most exciting language to learn.
Blogging Is The New History
Blogging is infectious just ask me I know. It is a way to express your views on almost any subject matter. Take for instance the any subject that you feel very strongly about then go on the internet and see how many people have already posted a blog about it. It is my opinion that blogging is in-fact historical because of how many people it has impacted as-well-as the instant ability for people to find out your taught's on a particular matter, in the old days we would write things down in a journal {for men} or a dairy {for women}: but today because a the rapid technological advances the world is going through people can view and respond to or taughts, proposals, our actions and our very nature in real time not just way after the fact. Blogging has impacted the future by helping chose presidential candidates, helping us to find missing children and exploited children as well, aiding in the arrest and conviction of some criminals, aiding in the connection of people and families around the world, it is even more useful as a teaching tool for public schools and colleges alike and most of all if you can image a way to use a Blog You To Could Just Make History!
Women on the Move!
For any middle age women it is easy to see why women are on the move. Women have come up a long hard road of domination, segregation, separation, isolation and oppression. A little more than 50 years ago women were given the right to vote, although I’ am sure at that time even after being given the right to vote their male counter-part probably forced many women not to vote. Or even many men intimidated the women to vote a certain way. Gone are those times however. Gone are the days when a man could have his wife arrested for not doing enough work. Fast forward a few decades and now we are witnessing the first lady too run for president of the United States of America; The very same place that treated women with utter contempt. How ironic is that, lets just say very ironic. We should all hope that if a woman is elected she want impart on men what they deserve or do to men, what was done to women. I know it its not really possible but it would be justice for all women. To have a women president would definitely be historical because she would be the first and most powerful women in the world. She would be the head of the greatest super power and military force on earth. I think she would also bring true compassion back to America and to the American People. Many women of the past have longed to see such a day, only to come up empty handed. Now the dreams of many women can and will be realized all because one lady “Hilary Clinton” ran for president in 2008.
The Injustice of Schools Teaching History
It is now apparent to me that the historical view in which I was taught all though-out my Elementary, Middle and High School career was grossly and seriously suspect. It is a shame that now after forty years of living and learning that I ‘m just learning these more in-depth things about my people during slavery time, during the 19 and the 20 century. The blame cannot all be placed on the public school system; it should be placed on society and on me. The school system bare the blame because it was all to willing to teach things they knew were not accurate and or not complete. I think that historical teachings and history text books were purposely flawed so that Young African American would not revolt. This was done to keep us from truly connecting with the horrific times of slavery and the life for blacks in early American history. Perhaps the timing is just right, maybe in my youth growing up in the late 60’s, I might have taken the knowledge in a wrong and hostel way. At any cost I would have liked to have made that decision for myself. Society I feel shares the blame because it was politically incorrect to view or teach young black kids their true impact on the modern world and their right to stake claim in America because of our African American fore father’s blood, sweat and tears. And lastly the blame must stop hear with me because the “logical fallacy” I committed most at the time was: Believing what was taught as absolute authority, not questioning the source, as well as me not do any other research myself.
Inclosing: It is now my duty to question everything and every source to understand how history affects me and family today and in the future.

Women and the Devastation they faced In History
In class we’ve studied history and how women were viewed. It is hard for me to believe that it was a common practice to treat women so harshly. I have always thought that it was bad for slaves during that period, many men, women and children slaves were thought of as less then cattle. So it is just now that I realize that when we are talking about women not having any rights we are in fact talking about “white women.” I don’t say this lightly as I’m typing this post a light comes on that helped me to think of the many Negro slave women who were rapped, beaten, tortured, force to bare their rapist children, humiliated and just plan old abused. It is hard enough for me to think of what prejudices that my mother had to endure when growing up in Georgia in the early 1940’s. Regrettably I must say that women over all suffered horrendous atrocities at the hand of men; What happened to white women does not even compare to what the white men in history has done to black women! It is an honor to know there are so many black women that are educated, positive and strong. As for the young African American Women they should learn more about the true history of the black women and be proud of them. This will serve them well because it would help them, and all women to respect themselves and not let men use them in this way any more. Men in the past use to be bold about the disdain they had for women. Now we just down play their disrespect for women. Men of old use to brutally forcibly rape women; now many just do it through lies, deceit, and trickery, slander, exploiting them, the internet and many other clever and underhanded ways. So I say to all women wake up and respect you, because men through-out history has not, for I to am man!
