Is Walmart really the devil?

I hear alot of people say that Walmart is a terrible place, That it steps on small buisnesses and destroys communities. The thing is I just got that awsome Point Break movie for like five dollars! Hey I say forget small buisness. Walmart for life.

Hey, who doesn't love "Point Break"?

But I think you're right. Wal-Mart isn't the Devil- it's an international corporation with an effective business model. If people were so against Wal-Mart, they wouldn't patronize its stores. You don't get to be the most successful retail chain in history because people hate you. The world votes in dollars.

I actually think that little business is what makes or breaks our economy. Has anyone noticed that our economy today is in the dumper. Its because business such as walmart are driving little business's into the ground. Maybe we should focus on more domestic business's as apposed to going over seas to big international corporations.

I don't think wal-mart is the devil. The cooperation itself is successful. The business should not be ridiculed for that!

I don't think Wal-Mart is the devil. I think it's very convenient. I also think it just make the smaller businesses work harder.

Wal-Mart is not everyone's Devil. I know people that will not set foot in Wal-Mart but personally for me as a poor college student, it is more my savior than Devil. I can get everything I need in one place, saving money and time. Wal-Mart was not always as big as it is today. Samuel Walton had to start somewhere, so should we put a limit as to how far a person's dream can go?
